Snowfall Challenge
WJJQ is holding a Snowfall Challenge Contest, sponsored by Lincoln County Cycles.
To participate in this contest, make your guess of how much total snow will fall from Monday, January 20th to Friday, February 14th.
Entries can be submitted until Sunday, January 19th at 11:59PM.

Any mailed entries must be postmarked by Saturday, January 18th.
Starting on January 20th, we will measure the snowfall here at our WJJQ Tower. Our total will begin at 0 inches of total snowfall. Every day, we will measure this location and clear it of any snowfall that has accumulated. The following day, the location will be measured again, and the amount of snowfall will be added to our total.
We will round up to the nearest ΒΌ inch of snowfall. If a dusting of snowfall is observed, no measurement will be recorded for that day.
The last day we will collect a snowfall measurement will be Friday, February 14th, before 10AM.
The winner of this contest will be announced during the noon hour weather report on Monday, February 17th.

The winner will be awarded a Cub Cadet 2x 24" Snowblower from Lincoln County Cycles.
We will provide a report of our total current snowfall on Mondays and Thursdays during our Noon Hour Weather Report. Updates will also be provided here on this page.
