WJJQ SNOWMOBILE REPORT
Join Northwoods 92-5, WJJQ for our live snowmobile reports at 7:30 am, 12:30 pm and 5:10 pm
Trail Conditions:
Not much has changed on the snowmobile trail report with the weekend quickly approaching.
While this week's cold weather preserved the trails, we simply need more snow. Unfortunately, there's not much in the extended forecast. Instead we're looking at a warm-up.
Riders may want to take advantage over the next few days because we could see some melting next week.
At this time, the trails can be considered in fair condition on average. The protected areas are in a bit better shape. The high-traffic areas are starting to wear thin. There can still be some good riding through the weekend.
Groomers are running where they can.
Stay safe, slow down and stay on the marked trails.
General Trail Openings: Most trails are now open in Vilas, Iron, Forest, Oneida, Price, Lincoln, Langlade, Taylor and Marathon Counties (some trails with these counties may still be closed)
