![]() The Tomahawk Fire Department is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers. They recently took a night to celebrate and look back at the past year including one impressive milestone. The Tomahawk Fire Department recently held their annual awards banquet which was described as a night to honor dedication, service, and excellence in the department. As part of the awards, the department recognizes service milestones. This year, that included Mike Loka. He was honored for his commitment to the Tomahawk Fire Department for 50 years. Two others also received service recognition, Ron Morren at 30 years and Taylor Randall for 15 years. Another annual award they present is Firefighter of the Year. This year it was presented to Kevin Kind for for his outstanding commitment and service to the community. The Department says, "Thank you to all our firefighters for your dedication, and to our families and community for your continued support.
